eLearning Day
Knowledge Center

August 29, 2019 has been designated for “eLearning” across statewide classrooms in anticipation of large crowds and heavy traffic arriving for Clemson’s 2019 football season kickoff game against Georgia Tech. Football game day parking will begin on Clemson’s main campus at 8 a.m., as it would on a normal Saturday gameday. Follow @Clemson_Parking for updates.
Faculty and Students:
For faculty and students, there will be online-only classroom instruction (including laboratory and studio courses) on August 29 at all Clemson University locations. This includes main campus, the Advanced Materials Research Lab (Anderson), CU-ICAR (Greenville) and CURI (Charleston) among others. The eLearning environment applies to classroom instruction only. Students involved in out-of-classroom setting activities, such as clinicals or filed placements, should continue their assignments as usual. Students should receive detailed instructions from their instructors on how to access the eLearning platform with this information also included in the course syllabus.
Staff:
August 29 is a paid staff holiday, replacing the previously announced Monday of Fall Break (Oct. 14). The updated university holiday schedule for staff can be found here.  Please note: essential personnel should speak with their supervisor to coordinate schedules as with any other university paid holiday.
